question about the case feeder
Quote from Reloader on July 10, 2013, 11:52 pmI am having trouble with the .45 acp shells not lining up in the shellholder to prime the shell. I don't have any trouble with the other calibers doing this. I am curious if there is a way to adjust the casefeeder arm so it doesn't do this? It seems like the primer plunger is pushing the shell out of the holder. It does it about 3 out of 7 shells. I can push it back in place with no problem but I don't think it is supposed to work that way. Thank you for any help you can give.

Quote from Reloader on July 11, 2013, 5:25 pmIt sounds like your cam for the plunger needs fine tuned. For me, I found that if I remove the tool head and look straight down at the platform I can watch the case as it get pushed into place by the case feeder. I have to do this whenever I change calibers.

Quote from Reloader on July 13, 2013, 1:25 amI will give this a try. The .45acp is the only one that gives me any trouble. Now it seems like it doesn't want to line up for the sizing die every time. I'm sure it is something that I am doing but I cant' figure it out yet. Still wouldn't trade my 550 for anything. The greatest machine ever.
