Quick change Powder measure
Quote from Reloader on June 8, 2013, 11:26 amWhy doesn't the Quick change powder measure come with the spring that wraps around the bar and why is it pictured with a safety rod when it doesn't come with it?
I've ordered the rod assembly for the SDB hoping I get all the lower parts to make it work, however with no return spring for the powder bar I'll most likely have to order that part unless it's not required. But there's one on my SD powder measure.
When calling I never have enough time to be placed on hold for 30-45 minutes and emails are a waste.
One other thing the dust covers will not fit if you have a bullet tray installed.
Trying to get my SD updated to a SDB is turning out to be a nightmare. At lease I have the low primer alarm.
I guess ebay and gunbroker are an expensive option.

Quote from Reloader on June 10, 2013, 3:09 pmFor the last 13+ years the powder measure design has not used a coil return spring. The failsafe rod is the retracting mechanism. It is easy to move the failsafe rod from one powder measure to the next. We included a replacement rod with each powder system until about 5 years ago, by which time we figured most users already have at least one. If you do not have a new style rod, please drop us an email with the machine model and your address.
