Rapid Trim 1200B Case Trimmer
Quote from Reloader on March 31, 2012, 3:10 pmAt this time Dillon does not offer a trim die for 300 Blackout. CH4D, a custom die company in Ohio, does offer a custom trim die in this cartridge. The issue is that if you use the trimmer to shorten 223 brass into 300 Blackout in one stroke, it will break the trimmer. The trimmer was designed and intended to remove .010" of brass, not .750" off at one stroke.

According to Dillon's web site there is no motor option for 230V/50Hz. It is easy to drop down voltage from 230V to 110V with transformer but is 50Hz frequency going to be a problem? I guess the revolution speed is going to be about 17% lower than with 60Hz.
PS. I couldn't create new topic for this question.

Quote from Reloader on September 8, 2012, 3:29 pmI got my 300 trim die from CH4D, it works but the open slot where the vacum is pulled across to clear the cut chips is 90% obscured by the tool head due to the face the die is short and not much sticking above the top. I have considered milling my toolhead just to make it work better for making this brass. I did over a 1000 with no issues, you just have to go slow so that you dont damage the cutter head.

Quote from Reloader on January 29, 2013, 9:43 pmI was checking to see if Dillon had a .300AAC trim die yet; guess not. After reading the comments below RE: trimming so much off the 5.56 case and the CH4D die I am wondering if I am missing something. Myself and others first cut the 5.56 case off at the shoulder. Put cases in stripper clip and push the whole 10 rds through a band saw or use a cut off saw with a metal cutting blade; form the .300 case in it's die then trim what little is left. I haven't used rapid trim yet because no trim die.

Quote from Reloader on April 2, 2013, 1:37 pmI won't swear by it, but I think what everyone on this thread is after is the 1200B case trimmer with the case trimmer die from places like "bradsWarehouse". You'll need a modded 550/ 650 or 1050 toolhead (single press reported as OK if using a shell holder extention).
http://www.bradswarehouse.com/index.php?p=1_11_Trim-dies
.. I now know what I want for Christmass!!! a 1050 with the 1200B trimmer and modded toolhead, Santa, I hope you are hearing this 🙂

Quote from Reloader on January 8, 2014, 4:23 pmAs highly popular as the 300 Blackout is becoming, why is Dillon not stepping it up to make toolheads, trimmer dies, and casefeeder plates for this caliber instead of relying on 3rd party vendors trying to make workarounds? Not sure if they even make loading dies, I had to buy RCBS which I despise. Dillon Do You Hear Us?
