Rebuild
Quote from Reloader on May 21, 2017, 9:29 pmMy press is nearly 20 years old and i have loaded a ton of ammunition on it.
But i think its starting to show its age.I belive its out of time, my primer punches are showing small chips and are worn from hitting the side of the rotary primer disk this is causing crushed primers. Not alot of them but enough that its a problem.
Also the platform is showing alot of wear.
I also break alot of the springs that move the ring indexer. And have cracked a few indexing rings
There is also alot of movement in the platform when on the upstroke of the press.
I have the press mounted on the strong mount and my reloading bench is bolted to the floor with angle iron, so there so very little movement on the press when being operated.
Powder drops are kind getting movement where they come together with the body.
I did notice one of my internal primermagazine is a bit chewed up on the brass tip.So i think its time to send it to dillon for a refurbishing.
How does one go about sending it back ?
Thanks for all the help
