Refurbish

I just acquired my friends xl650 that unfortunately was stored in the garage. This is my first progressive press and to have such a high end press as your Dillon, I'm not sure on what might be missing from the press to function properly. I do know the index block is broke and the case insert slide/slide came broke during testing. Also the shell plate doesn't currently index.

My question is first does the warranty still apply or only to the original purchaser? Lastly I was told I could send the press in and you would refurbish it/ fix anything broken. Do you still do this and what would the cost be.

The warranty on the XL650 is on the machine, not the owner. Broken parts are covered under warranty. We charge $77.95 to perform a clean & lube service on the XL650. During this, all worn or damaged parts are replaced. This fee also covers shipping it back to you. To begin this, please phone or email, and include your address, so we can create a Return Authorization for you. Current in-house turnaround time is about 2 weeks.

What all should I send back with the press?

Remove the following:
brass locator pins
spent primer catcher cup
handle
case feed post and associated hardware
powder measure (unless it needs attention, then detach and pack)
low primer alarm ( unless it needs attention, then detach and pack)
