reloading .223

I'm having trouble with my Windham Weaponry 5.56. The weapon won't cycle because it seems that chamber is too tight. My reloads have no issues in my Dillon case gauge. I'm frustrated.

Do sized, empty cases drop in flush with the bottom step of the case gage? If not, then the sizing die needs to be adjusted down a bit further. A sized, empty case, with the case lube removed, must go flush with the bottom step on the gage.

are you useing small base dies for better round feeding in semi-auto rifles. did you try hand inserting dillon loaded rounds in to chamber then close bolt by hand slowly and see if you get good lockup, i remove ejector and extractor from bolt head first so there is a true unpreasured lock up of bolt over case. also check sized case head diameter to see if it is in spec.  make sure you are sizing 100% of the case to insure proper min. head space. just my two cents of experience! hope it helps....

I had to remove a little off of teh bottom of my sizing die to get mine to go to the bottom of the case gage. Will factory ammo work?
