Reloading 257 weatherby Mag
Quote from Reloader on October 11, 2011, 7:42 pmI have been thinking of buying this press for sometime now. The main reason being the price of 257 wby mag ammo. So if I was to reload 257 wby on a 550 press what dies/brand would be recommended? It does not appear that Dillon sells a die set for this caliber, but if I am mistaken I would like to know.
Also if anyone is reloading 257 on a dillon what is your die setup?
I am shooting a Mark V weatherby.

Quote from Reloader on January 12, 2012, 7:42 amI load .257 Wtby with a Dillon RL550B. Using RCBS 2 die set, no crimping. Best load for my rifle is 117 Gr. Hornady BTSP Interlock with 64 grs. of H4831SC, CCI large rifle magnum primer w/OAL of 3.220. In my Wtby Vanguard S2 it gives me sub moa performance.
