Reloading Dies
Quote from Reloader on January 22, 2013, 3:11 pm(1) I recently purchased new Dillon dies for XL 650. Should they be disassembled initially and cleaned with a one-shot product as some manufacturers suggest??
(2) Instructional video shows the lecturer disassembling the bullet seating die to "pick the right insert???"
(3) I have reloaded 40 S&W for some time and have recently added 10MM. The 40S&W conversion kit includes a red and purple plastic case feed cylinder. I assume the larger purple is for 10MM. I only have one small red...no smalll purple. Will the small red work with 10MM??Thank You

#2 - the die seating insert will flip over. One way is for round nose ammo, the other is for semi-wad cutters.
