Remington .360 BUCKHAMMER LOAD DATA?

Looking for recipes for 180 grain Hornady XTPs. Would like to start with AA-1680 Powder.  I have a 550 Toolhead all set with Redding Dies using annealed and chopped 30-30 brass for the cases.  Sinclair .357 Mandrel and Lee Factory Crimp Die for QC.  Factory ammo in 200 grain is available (hit and miss) at Remington.

The best powder is LIL GUN..  I reached 2200 fps with 200 grain bullets.. Got 2300 with 180 speer flat point...Slower powders just don't get there...I tried 4198 and RL 7 ..  LIL GUN was the most consistent powder with 300MP a distant second .. 1680 would probable be the same...I started with 35 Remington data.. That was a fail...350 legend data is much closer...  John Barsness published an article with heavier bullets resized to 355 in the legend .. My results tracked fairly close to his....I was shooting in a 24 inch MGM barrel

A working maximum with 200 gr round nose and LIL GUN is 24.0 grains..  The 200 FTX and Spire Point seat deeper and require a reduced powder charge of about 23.5 grains..

LOTS of  load data, reviews, testing and all things Remington .360 Buckhammer (BHMR) info at: http://www.360BHMR.com
