Removing Primer Mag. Shield/Emptying Primers

OK....I screwed up...I just filled my 650 with primers but wanted to change types. I followed a erroneous thread to empty the primers without cycling 100 through the machine...I removed the knurled shield cap and lifted out the internal primer tube....yep.... not a good idea, as all the primers simply poured out of the internal primer tube and now reside scattered in the bottom of the shield, with no way to cycle them out!
So....the next idea was to remove the primer assembly and pour out the primers. Well, it seems the primer magazine tube shield needs to be removed in order to tilt the upper part of the priming assembly enough to remove it after having removed the two base screws....easier said than done! Though I removed the screw at the bottom side of the shield, it won’t budge!
Ideas please before I disassemble further???
Thanks, Mike

Remove the rotating plate that holds the cartridges. Then if you remove the two hex drive screws the entire priming mechanism comes off. Then you can turn it upside down to remove primers.

Or unbolt the whole machine and turn it upside down. Removing the powder hopper first might be a good idea.

Just bit the bullet and took the shell base bolt/plate out so I could remove primer assembly and dump out the primers....lesson learned!
