resettting the tool dies for 9mm
Quote from Reloader on November 22, 2008, 8:46 pmThis morning i started the procedure to reset everything for the 9mm
i had purchased a second tool head so i dont have to go through a complete sizing and adjusting operation as i change back to 380 acp
i was missing the #4 die for the 9mm, and called and got one mailed out. but my question is will the #4 380 acp die work since the 9mm and 380 acp are the same case widths at the bullet ?
and i did a very throrough cleaning of excess powder and found a primer that somehow found its way in a small recess at the primer feed area.
i used a damp cloth to wipe any powder residue and the like,
all in all for a first time reset i was impressed it only took a relativley short period to get everything adjusted save the #4 station.
