Resistance on the down stroke
Quote from Reloader on July 8, 2013, 10:02 pmI'm having issues on the down stroke.
It brings the press to bounce and powder spills.I have fixed the shell plate indexing and the shell forward pusher, the only problem is on the down stroke from the powder funnel.
I don't know how to fix it, but I'm sure it isn't suppose to bounce.
Thanks for all and any help

Quote from Reloader on July 10, 2013, 2:41 amCheck the spring/wire that pushes the loaded round into the discharge chute. Mine had worked it's way up a bit and the round was getting stuck at that point and it took a lot of force (and powder spilling and bouncing) until I realized what was going on. Pushed it back down with my finger and all is well. Just something I have to be aware of when it feels "balky" and not brute force past the catch. HTH

Quote from Reloader on July 10, 2013, 2:05 pmI was having the same issue, look where the failsafe rod conntects at the powder measure. The inside piece of the gold color metal is hitting the frame of the powder measure. I bent mine out just enough to clear it and it solved the problem

Quote from Reloader on July 31, 2013, 3:18 pmIf the machine came setup for say 9mm and you changed it to 45cal or some other caliber make sure the pins on the plate are for that caliber. they are numbered 1,2,3,4 depending on the size of brass. Each caliber has a certain number. If wrong size is used it will jump just after the powder check station.
Read the conversion chart for the correct size pin
