Rifle belling powder funnel
Quote from Reloader on June 22, 2010, 11:42 pmI reload 30-30 and 30-06 cast bullets on a 550B. Without a belling powder funnel I must use a Lyman M die on a separate press, greatly slowing down the process. Plus, interrupting the work flow introduces the risk of double charging or some other malfunction.
The belling funnel comes with all the handgun conversion kits I have.
Why not for rifles?
Gary at Dillon says there is not enough customers' interest to justify providing one.
Surely there has to be a lot of re-loaders loading cast bullets in rifles?

Quote from Reloader on July 16, 2010, 2:16 amI lucked out and just happened to buy gas checked lead bullets by True Shot the first time I set up to load .30-30. No shaving at all on my 550B. I picked up a box of Brand X with no gas checks and gave them away after loading 20.

Quote from Reloader on July 26, 2010, 2:18 pmThe C funnel is too long for use with 30-06. It does work with 30-30 and .308 Winchester, although the die is backed up enough that you do need to guide the case onto the funnel.
