RL 1050 Issue
Quote from Reloader on November 5, 2013, 2:19 pmI have an RL 1050, and I am having an issue with it moving too fast on the upstroke.
As I come up near the top of the upstroke the case ring moves real fast and then stops quickly. This causes powder to spray out of the pistol cases. Is there any way to slow this down, or to make the case ring not come to an abrupt stop?

Quote from Reloader on November 7, 2013, 5:47 pmSpeed of shellplate rotation is purely controlled by the speed you lift the handle up. Slapping the handle upward can cause the condition you described. Also, push down on the edge of the shellplate at the bullet seating station. If it feels springy, then tighten the shellplate lock ring a bit more.
