RL1000 PRESS and PARTS 10/24/2026
Quote from Pete1970 on October 25, 2026, 12:04 amHello all I am looking for some help. Is there anyone here that still runs and owns Dillon RL 1000's? So almost 3 years ago my bullet caster passed away. In the last 2 years of his life we became very close. And he was an old Viet Nam vet he served in the marines. He didn't let many people in his circle of friends. He had and has a lot of stuff. Well (2) RL1000's are in my possession and many many many parts. I know 1 of the machines is Number 000049. It was never ever used as I am told. The second is #0006xx. They both work. What I am asking is there someone who a member can direct me too? I don't know anything about the machines or the parts. I have to clean out the garage and basement next week. I want this stuff to go to someone who can use it and appreciate it. I honesty have any idea what parts are there. I am sure he has the manuals somewhere. I am not giving anything away. The money goes to his widow. If this post violates policy I am sorry. And this is just the beginning.
A pre 1991 original 550 An original 450 not converted A 650 press. And parts dies conversions more stuff than I ever imagined. I haven't been in the basement/ garage in 2.5 years I forgot what he had. Before he passed I took over 250,000 pieces of pistol / rifle brass out the house and 80 lbs of powder that I sold it all for him. He has it all. Thanks, Pete
