rotating shell plate bolt
Quote from Reloader on June 23, 2011, 1:38 am550b - New to reloading, loaded several hundred shells no problem. Last 100 shells, the bolt that holds the shell plate in is rotating when advancing the stages. Every 4 or 5 progressions, it locks up. I have to loosen the bolt a little and then it is fine. Inspected everything and it looks fine and clean. What should I look for?

Set your shell plate bolt to the correct tightness and snug that set screw to retain your setting. Do NOT crank in that set screw. It has a soft tip. If you are still unclear, go to the directions for a better explanation.
