Round Counter

Does anybody know how to attach the Dillon round counter on to the crimp die. There is not enough of the die above the tool head to attach the counter. Thanks in advance.

Just push the spring clip around the top of the die. even if it is a hex-top, it should fit.

Yes, it will. It attaches a the separate crimp die in station 4

I'm curious. I've never seen this in any issue of the Blue Press, nor on the associated parts and accessories for any of the machines. What is the stock number, and will it fit any Dillon press, or just select presses?

Joe, the rounds counters have not been made in many years. There was a post back in 2014 by someone trying to find a part for one and Dillon said that parts had been exhausted and not available for many years. There is one listed on ebay with the under crimp die mount but I don't know if it comes with the clip to go around the die.

thanks.....I didn't think there'd be one, but Admin did reply a few days ago and didn't say anything about it being out of production.....

I don't really need one, as I don't run that many rounds at a session. Usually no more than 100 rounds, and that's easy to count, I just go until I run out of primers.
