RT1500 Trimer setup on 750

I am trying to setup my xl750 for 223 case prep. I have Dillon self-centering decap in station 1, RT1500 in 3, and Lyman Expander in 5. I’m having clearance issues with the expander. It will only work if the die is in the tool head before adding the trimmer motor. Is this normal and the correct station numbers for each?

You have the proper dies in the correct stations. Yes, you need to install and adjust the Lyman die prior to installing the trimmer motor on top of the trim die. Still adjust the trim die first, using a headspace gage to adjust the height of the die.
