sdb conversion change
Quote from Reloader on January 27, 2012, 2:13 amHello, I have recently just got into reloading and purchased the sdb. The press came with .45acp already installed and I successfully made around 500 bullets. However, when I went to change from .45 to 9mm I am having some issues. When the press goes to stage 2 (powder drop) it is expanding my case out immensely. As I said, I am new and I have probably just did the changeover in-correctly. I replaced toolhead, dies, and primer slide. Do you have any advice as to what it could be?
Thanks,
Mike

Quote from Reloader on January 27, 2012, 4:34 pmIt sounds like the powder die in station two is set down too far. Be sure you have the "F" funnel inside the die- the funnel for 45 is marked "E". If the F funnel is installed, then back the powder die up until the case is only flared .010-.020".
