SDB loading 9mm

We are loading 9mm in our SDB (& have 3 new Glock 26/9mm) & have 2 questions:

1. On a previous post (which I can't find now) it was mentioned the person returned their press to Dillon. When it came back it was of course completely fixed & the posting person added "Dillon even set it up to take out the Glock bulge"

My question is can you explain how to do this (take out the Glock bulge) step by step or is this a factory only procedure?

2. The primer low warning buzzer never does sound when primers are low or even out. We just watch the height of the rod & know approx when to add primers. It does buzz if pushed down manually.

Is there an adjustment/fix to correct this so the buzzer does actually work when primers are low?

The loader works without any problem in all other aspects of reloading & we love it!!

Thanks Much Kelly

The "Glock Bulge" occurs in earlier generation Glock pistols, more in 40 than in 9mm however. The earlier Glock barrels had insufficient chamber support at the bottom, allowing the case to bulge out upon firing, often beyond a point where the size die could squeeze it back. Current production Glocks offer increased support there, so the bulge is within acceptable levels, and the size die will restore it.

On older machines, once the blue plastic friction plate is worn, the bulge does not get sized back. Simply replacing this plate pushes the size die down further, correcting this.
