seating/crimping die combo

I am using and RCBS seating and crimping die combo. The brass is caving on the upstroke. The seating adjustment on the die is all the was down with zero adjustment remaining. It seems the die should be longer so that I do not have to set the crimp so low on the brass because it looks like it is crimping to low and pulling on the brass on the upstroke causing it to cave. The brass basically has a dip in the mid section. The rounds are not cambering as well as they should. I have tried range brass as well as new brass.

Is there a different seating & crimping die combo?

...or am I doing something wrong? Do I need to make adjustments somewhere?

I do my seating and crimping in two separate steps. To do it in one step requires very critical adjustments.

I think rcbs 480r seat/crimp isnt long enough to crimp in the 550

Which press are we talking about here? 1050 0r 550? I would like to know if I can use a combo seat/crimp from RCBS on the 1100.
