seating Depth
Quote from Reloader on February 27, 2013, 3:05 amI have the Square Deal B, Winchester gave me a depth of 1.135 or so for OAL. I set it here and after loading find it all over the place. 1.128 to 1.140 etc. 75% or so are within .005 of my target but some exceed more then .005.
Talk to a guy at dillon tech today. He told me to set my OAL to 1.155 and make sure I have a shell in each station (which I always had). should stay within .005Set it up for 1.155 so I thought. Ran some rounds, and I'm still getting them from 1.140 to 1.165 mostly in the 1.150 to 1.160 but enough out side to have concerns.
Anyone have any ideal why the length varying so much. I hitting bottom with each stroke. Could tighter primers be pushing the shell plate up on seating side verse loser, easier depriming.
Thanks

Even my Zero 124 grain is different lengh.

Quote from Reloader on April 13, 2013, 6:14 pmMy son had the same problem loading 45 ACP.
We found a broken arm or casting I don't remember now but dillon had us send it back and they fixed it of course for free.
Oh did I mention we got it used.
If its broke they fix it "NBS"
