She'll plate alignment

I just can't understand why the shell plate moves a fraction, just tried it with no cases when the handle is up the case slot sits exactly in the middle of the primer pin seating when I push forward as if to seat the primer it actually advances maybe .010" clockwise when the handle returns to its normal spot it re centres as I pull the handle down it indexes anti clockwise about .010" and about a 1/4 of the down stroke it moves a fraction more not sure why?

Thanks for the reply, I have set all the dies using the case in as per instructions. I just can't understand why the shell plate moves a fraction, just tried it with no cases when the handle is up the case slot sits exactly in the middle of the primer pin seating when I push forward as if to seat the primer it actually advances maybe .010" clockwise when the handle returns to its normal spot it re centres as I pull the handle down it indexes anti clockwise about .010" and about a 1/4 of the down stroke it moves a fraction more not sure why?
