Shell not diving into calibration die
Quote from Reloader on August 26, 2018, 2:23 amI encounter likely, with the reload of 9mm, the problem that the shell not get into the resizing die. Hitting the edge of the die. I have to direct the shell by hand.
I have checked the insert slide spring which was good. Bud replaced for a new one. It didn't solve the problem.
When I push the shell plate down. It mostly works. Reducing the movement of the shellplate. (currently a half turn back after tight) I get trouble, primer moving in side ways.
Could it be related to the die I use? I use Lee 9mm undersize die. Because my S&W 929 gives me otherwise trouble ejecting.

Also, when you adjust the black steel camming pin for how far the case is pushed into the shellplate, be sure to have a primed case in station 2. The primer seating punch pushing on the primer is the actual stop for forward handle movement. The handle travels further if no primed case is in station 2 than it does when actually reloading.
