Shell Plate Primer Cub Clearance
Quote from Reloader on December 24, 2012, 8:51 pmWhen the handle is at rest, the primer cup and primer sit just an extremely small amount above the bottem of the shell plate hole. This situation prevents me from advancing from the first station to the powder station. What can be done to correct this? This is loading 38 spl. I had no problem with 45 ACP.

Quote from Reloader on December 26, 2012, 1:36 pmYou need to adjust the primer cup down using the set screw in the primer bar. Trying remember the height.. like beteen 1.215 to 1.220 from the top of the primer cup to the bottom of the bar

Quote from Reloader on December 27, 2012, 11:58 pmMake sure that underneath the platform there are no primers or debris, if that's clear, then look at the powder return rod... you might need to loosen the wingnut at the bottom, and this should allow the platform to lower. I hope this helps. If anyone thinks I'm off base, please pass along other items that it could be.
