SHELLPLATE NOT HOLDING MIXED 9MMP BRASS
Quote from Reloader on June 15, 2010, 5:12 amI am using mixed 9mm brass and I am finding that on the priming station that while the primers are being seated that he shell along with the primer shoots out, generally hitting the tool head area and then falling to the floor. both are reusable but it becomes a bother. this happens about 6-10 times out of a hundred. I am using the 'M' plate and the no 3 pins. I am loading exclusively 9mmP. for production division.

Quote from Reloader on June 15, 2010, 2:42 pmThe plate you are using is actually a "W"- it is for 40 S&W and 10mm. 9mm uses a #5 shellplate, #3 locator pins, and the "F" powder funnel.

Quote from Reloader on June 17, 2010, 5:58 pmHi, thanks for this info. Now the other problem is that my machine was purchased in 9mmP but the shellplate is for the .40S&W. How do I get Dillon to change my shellplate for me all the way in South Africa.
