Shipping Cost

I'm looking at my shopping cart and it seems the shipping cost for a set of carbide rifle dies is $17.49. Do they calculate shipping on the total cost of the items? I can't imagine it's done on weight...the set doesn't weight more than a couple of pounds. Does this cost estimate sound correct? Bill

Our shipping and handling fee is based on the dollar value of the order. This includes insurance as well.
