Shipping delays

Page 1 of 2Next

I know you guys are slammed. I ordered a rapid trim and 223 die along with a 600 Swage last week. I just would like to know if you folks have products in stock or are back ordered? I just finished cleaning 3K of brass and want to get started processing it.

I ordered the XL 650 last week.  Today my order showed finalize and I tried to call to see what the possible shipping status would be.  I called the day I ordered it to add a few things to the order.  The guy I talked to said it would ship in 2 to 3 weeks.  I'm just a little impatient....  The 800 number was busy every time I called it.  I called the 480 number and no one ever answered.  I'm sure they're swamped!  I'm going to sit on my hands until next week.

We are backordered probably 2-3 weeks at least on 223 dies. Swagers are probably backordered a week, waiting on a local supplier to get more parts made and heat treated. Machines alone are backordered 1-2 weeks, depending on the model. As you probably noticed, everyone wants to be self-sufficient on the 223 cartridge (among others) all at once, and we are working long hours and weekends to try and keep up. Please be patient.

The lack of reply is telling

The price of some Dillon items in e-bay almost absurd.  People a bidding up items, presses included, to 125% over cost.

I'd hardly call that absurd considering all the chicken littles driving all the prices up right now, stockpiling for a ban that will never happen! What IS absurd is a $900 AR-15 going for $4,000+ (left-handed Stag).. In any case, a delay of less than a month considering the circumstance is exceptional, IMHO...

I got a shipment order yesterday. Are they shipping partial orders? I ordered a 650 and $1000 in other goodies, but the Fedex site says it's only 10.5 pounds.

Yep, they are shipping partials.  SO far I have received three seperate shipments and still waiting on a few items..

I did get my 650 in today!! But no dies 🙁

I placed an order on my corporate card last week for an extra powder system. I'm the owner, I can do that. I called a week ago to see where my product was and was told that it was shipping that day. I never received my products. At the same time I asked what kind of delay to expect if I ordered a 650. A friend wanted to buy my 550. I was told two weeks Today i called to see where my powder measure was and was told that there was a problem with my card and that they were too busy to call. My order never shipped. I was also told that my new press would not ship for SIX weeks. All bull shit aside, this is the company that touts the No B.S. guarantee. This is a whole lot of BULLSHIT!
I have been dealing with you guys for 19 years, look it up, and you cant even send an email saying there was a problem with my order.
I was so impressed with your company that I named my first company NOBIESS LLC to emulate you guys.
Everyone has problems in business. It is how you deal with the problems that makes you stand out and you guys have seriously let me down.
I still bought a Dillon but I paid $966 bucks for it from one of your dealers and I still have to wait three weeks. That is BULLSHIT. I bet I have been buying your products, promoting your products and basically singing Dillon praises longer than my "dealer" has been able to spell Dillon.
Boo for your performance on this transaction. You get an F for your customer service on this deal.
Things are messed up but you guys dropped the ball and kicked it down the field.

Chris, you've obviously not had much dealing with Dillon - this company is a class act all the way around. Just one example from me personally, when I started reloading I couldn't afford a brand new machine. Bought a used one. the powder measure wasn't working correctly so I called, found out that I had a machine that was quite old, and that the powder measure I had couldn't even be brought back up to spec - they immediately shipped me a brand new one, no charge. You can't hold it against them that you're buying at probably the worst possible time in history... have patience.
