Shoulder Washer
Quote from Reloader on May 13, 2013, 2:59 pmHave a 550b and have read about folks breaking the white shoulder washer on the failsafe rod. Most have these have been attributed to the washer being to tight. I have the opposite problem as mine does not seem to want to stay in the bracket no matter how I adjust the orientation of the rod. Is there a home remedy for this??

I am beginning to wonder about Dillon Product Quality Control.
Have they become "to big" and quality control is dropping to meet demand?

Quote from Reloader on August 4, 2013, 3:31 pmFairly new to the reloading game but I had issues with the shoulder washer as well. Mine was rather old and stiff and was very difficult to remove and reinsert. Ordered a couple of new ones from Dillon and they work great. Other than that I had problems with the priming system where I could only load about 10 primers in the magazine. If I tried to load more they would jam up and I'd have primers all over the place. Found that there must have been a kink or something in the tube and finally one got jammed good in there. New one on order, hope it solves the problem. Right now I am placing primers in the cup with a pair of locksmith tweezers...royal PITA! Sure enjoy reloading though. Also load on a Lee Pro 1000 as well.
