Sizing Die Adjustment?
Quote from Reloader on October 9, 2016, 2:20 pmI have acquired a Square Deal (not B) from a friend. It is set up for .357. My question is, should or can the sizing die be adjusted? The manual says this station is preset and never needs adjustment.
The reason I ask is that when cycling the press, the sizing die hits the shell plate before the link arms hit the stop. They are about 1/2" away. Is this normal? When loading should I stop when the shell plate hits, or continue to pull down to the stops? I don't want to overstress the press frame.
