SL 900 Crimp issues
Quote from Reloader on February 5, 2013, 1:58 pmHave or had everything adjusted-I thought
Running into issues with the final crimp
I'm using STS hulls with 1 1/8 shot charge
when I crimp- it is finishing way back in the case leaving a hole the shot can pour through- is this normal for this shell
If not how do I adjust it where it crimps correctly
any help would be appreciated

Quote from Reloader on February 5, 2013, 4:49 pmSTS hulls tend to be irregular in length. Use calipers, find the longest fired hulls, use those to adjust both the start and final crimp. A hole in the center after final crimp indicates the start crimp needs to go down an additional 1/4 turn or so.
