small primer problems

I have been having problems with the small primer feeding. When I use the large pistol primers I have no problems. Using the small primer feed it works once in a while. sometimes the primers end up on the primer slide behind the primer cup other times the don't feed at all. I took the assembly apart and measured the distance, it was 1.200 I reset it to 1.220 and reassembled the unit. I put in six primers and it still didn't feed reliably. When the primer slide is all the way back the white plastic pin appears to travel back.  What am I doing wrong? I have loaded around 800 rounds with small primers with no problems. This is a new problem.

Not no expert but, it sounds like you got the large primer tube in trying to feed small primers??  Did that once.

After taking the primer system apart and inspecting the parts I discovered my problem. The blue end (14024) of the primer tube appeared to be open farther than it should. I replaced the blue primer feed end then loaded 35 9mm shells with no primer miss-feeds. I am not sure what happened unless it got damaged when I switched to large primers for 45 ACP. It must not be uncommon as I found three replacements in my spare parts box! I love my blue press and have done more shooting this summer than I have in years,

I am having a problem with the dillon primer tubes. I have been using my rcbs one but decided to try the dillon as they appear to hold 100 primers. Problem is small primer tube is to big and allows primers to turn inside the tube. Same size as large tube.
