Smashed primers
Quote from Reloader on October 23, 2019, 1:28 pmGood morning,
I’m loading 9mm on my super and I’m getting an excessive amount of smashed primers that are failing to enter the primer pocket at all. As I’m observing the priming stage I can see when it’s going to happen. The case lifts up on the outside edge of the case plate (yes, it’s the right case plate). I only run small primers on this machine so it’s not a large primer punch. I’ve adjusted the Swager up and I’m getting a solid Swage on the primer pocket.
I’ve read a couple over post and Dillion has mentioned a 1/8 rubber ring. I’ve looked through my manual and I can’t find where any rubber ring would be. I got my machine from Dillon in 2013ish. Thank you for your help
