so after already bending one, i just got a replacement from dillon, and now i am wondering how to mount the finished round chute.
in the picture you can see that the when i lower the platform it comes down on top of it.
it is bolted down tight, yet its still in the way.
so should i just tie a rope around the press frame and around the chute to hold it back?

Quote from Reloader on June 21, 2009, 5:28 pmI just installed the chute on my nre 650 yesterday and I also had to bend it to make it clear the platform. Dillon might want to look into this issue and consider a slight adjustment to their chute design.

Quote from Reloader on January 25, 2010, 7:29 pmI also had this problem setting my 650 up this past weekend. There was not enough play in the mount holes for it to clear. I had to twist the chute slightly and then use a pair of heavy vise grips with plastic jaw protectors to pinch the chute opening closer together. It now clears and it should ok. But I have not run any ammo through it yet.

Quote from Reloader on January 29, 2010, 5:41 pmJust a friendly reminder as no where do I see a warning , that if you force the handle down and the chute side catches under the shellplate you can break the Ring Indexer. And is that a pain to replace.
Ask me how I know!!
Not ment to offend just a heads up. cheers
