spare parts kit
Quote from Reloader on March 27, 2013, 2:16 pmIf anyone is having thoughts about ordering a spare parts kit DON'T. Thru my own neglience I had to rebuild the small primer assembly on my XL650. Just as I was about to call tech support I checked the spare parts kit that I ordered and it had everything needed for the repair.
I then contacted Dillon about replacing the parts I used and they were sent to me free of charge. No shipping or any other cost. Outstanding service and true to their word. Might be small Taters on their part but meant alot to me.

What I've learned, Dillon has excellent service and seems to replace bad parts at no charge. You may find though that some parts seem to go bad over and over for whatever reason. When/if the part goes bad again, I'm sure they will replace it but then you are down, can't use your press. I would recommend that you buy some spare parts. I recently received some parts at no charge, but I ordered extras, which I got charged for. I don't have the spare parts kit, but I don't think it is a waste, the parts aren't things you can find in a hardware store, for the most part, why have downtime?
