SQD Depriming pin

I have just started loading 9mm on my Square Deal b and ran into a small problem of the de-primer not pushing the old primer completely out of the casing. Is there a longer pin available? I can't see any way to adjust the de-priming pin, but I know I am giving the machine a full stroke. It only happened to 3 out of 100, and this press is new to me but not a new press.

Sharpen your decapping pin a little. The pin is actually pulling the spent primer back up into the case.

+1 for sroe3.

The old primer gets wedged onto the end of the pin. Use sandpaper to round and taper the tip of the pin so the old primer won't stick to it.

Sounds like what just happened to me. I have been using my SDB for 17 years, didn't catch on to the feel like you did and bent my first decapping pin. Took me all of 5 minutes to replace.

These are great little machines and I honestly can't remember the last time I had an issue with it.
