Station 1 Alignment With Casing
Quote from Reloader on April 4, 2011, 7:12 pmJust received my 650 a couple of weeks ago. A friend that has been reloading for 20+ years and currently has two 650's and a 1050 in operation helped me dial in my 650. Everything works perfectly with the exception of the casings lining up properly in the sizing die. Almost every casing (currently 45ACP) makes contact with the corner of the sizing die and must be manually adjusted on the shell plate to enter the sizing die properly. With a minor touch to the casing, the casing will then enter the die and is sized properly. All other stations function perfectly. Help???
Thanks,
Jim

Did you align the size die by tightening the lock ring with a case up in the die? Is the case being pushed completely into the shellplate by the plunger? Any problems with primers not fully seating into cases?

Quote from Reloader on April 9, 2011, 9:52 pmProblem solved. When the machine arrived new the case insert slide hade a broken piece and needed to be replaced. I must not have adjusted it properly initially. Once I checked out the forum, re-adjusted the case insert slide with a primed case in station two, all was good.
Thanks!
