Station 2 Locator Adjustment

I am unable to make this adjustment. What am I doing wrong?

XL650 Adjustments, per Ver 6.1 Manual
Caliber Change, Adjust Station 2 Locator
Manual says:
Best done with Toolhead removed?

I think I see the error. The tool head is what holds the dies. With it removed, its a lot easier to see the case and the tab. The shell plate is what holds the case, and this must be there to adjust the tab. I hope this is the help you need, and just so you know, I have never needed to adjust this tab, it just clears on all my calibers from .223 up to .45. The adjustment clearance seems to be taken care of with all the different shell plates I have/use.

Enjoy, jj

Yeah I see what he's saying and I agree i've never adjusted this lever it works fine with all my loads so far. I do seem to see a little mark on the rim of the primer pocket. Now, i'm not sure if this is do to not properly adjusting this lever or not. And not all cases have this indentation and i'm not sure if it's from the shell plate or not but, I have noticed a little ring type indentation. Maybe the gods of Dillion can clarify your problem and help me out with mying. And just so Dillion knows all of us guys that love to reload we really appreciate the employees of Dillion and all the help they give us!

Duh! Don't know how many times I read toolhead as shell plate...guess I'm just looking at it as I try to adjust.
As for the adjustment screw not budging...Just a little extra force and it broke loose and works fine.
I have been using the 650 for 5+ years and never adjusted the station 2 locator. It's been awhile since I did a caliber change so discovered this with a careful read of the manual. Not sure how important it is as I've gone from 223 to 45Auto many times with no noticed issues. I'm now going to 44 Mag and since the locator contacts on the rim it probably really does need adjusted.
Thanks everyone for your input.
