station 3 seating bullet
Quote from Reloader on April 2, 2010, 1:53 pmJust got back a used SDB that Dillon rehabed for me, btw, thanks very much !!!! I load 38spec. , 105 gr. truncated bullets for CAS. With of the 3 seating stems would be best for this shape bullet ??? So far, I've tried the SWC stem thinking it would match the "flatness" of the tip of the bullet, but every once in a while, the bullet seats crocked if I didn't place it on the case perfectly level/straight. Would the RN stem hold the sides of the bullet straighter ??

Quote from Reloader on April 2, 2010, 3:47 pmI suggest you remove the bullet seat stem and see if the flat nose of the bullet is bottoming out in the SWC seat stem. If it doesn't, then use the RN stem. Be sure that case mouths are being flared at least .010" larger.
