station-one locator

I just setup my new 650 and have loaded about 500 rnds of 223.  (It came factory setup for 223)
I have encountered two issues:
First, the ejection ramp was  slightly misaligned which caused it to lean out too far and catch on the down-stroke.
Nothing seemed to work until I removed it, attached it to my bench at the two bolt holes with c-clamps, and bent it slightly back with a crescent wrench.   A tiny bit did the job.  It now almost touches the press frame and stays clear of the ram on the downstroke.  The result of this was missing a primer insert, and thus powder all over since I'm use ball 748.  Since I have an air-compressor close by, I discovered a quick squirt of 100psi air cleans things up nicely.  Not sure where all that powder goes?

The second issue I'm not so sure about.   Sometimes a casing fails to feed into station one.   It sometimes falls over and sometimes it is badly misaligned.   It seems that the rim does not feed below onto the tracks.  The station-one locator part is very loose and moves around a lot which seems to cause the mis-feed.

Since I'm now out of small-rifle primers -- I've been using primers I've stored for more that 30 years!, I'm going to convert to .45ACP.   Before I start this I'd just like to know if the locator is setup wrong or if I'm doing something else wrong.

I must say that I'm very impressed with this reloader.   A friend of mine had an early Dillon 25 years ago and ever sense I've always thought I'd go for it but just never did.   I don't think I'll regret this one!

Thanks,
Don

the underside of the station one locator should have a coating of grease to act as a vibration dampener.

I have also found that if the locater is cleaned really good, a couple of coats of 3m Dry Silcone works really well
