strong mount

was thinking about mounting a strong mount to about two or three sheets of maple plywood, then mounting that to the top of a roll around craftsman toolbox. would this work?

Plywood might flex enough to prevent consistent primer seating. Use one inch thick particle board, and maybe add a maple plywood like a top cover.

What thickness of plywood are you thinking?

Kevin

the particle board that i am thinking of will flex way to much, as for the thickness i am thinking at least 3/4''

So you're thinking of 2 to 3 layers of 3/4" plywood that is then bolted down to the roll away? That should work. I'd add some stiffeners on the underside of the roll away top as well.
