Stuck brass
Quote from Reloader on May 4, 2013, 3:38 pmI managed to really stick a 9mm brass case in my 20 year old sizing die. Tried removing the case but no go. Do I need an RMA number to send it in? Should I send in the entire die set? Sent an email last week asking these question. No response.
Thanks for any assistance.

Quote from Reloader on May 6, 2013, 5:12 pmIn a Square Deal loader, to remove a stuck case in the size die, first unscrew the decap assembly from the toolhead. Now, run a punch of some sort down through the hole, and rap it with a hammer to free the stuck case. If this fails, then we need to give you an RMA to send in just the size die. No reason to send the entire set in.

Quote from Reloader on May 6, 2013, 9:25 pmI had tried a few punch taps prior to my forum entry without luck. This time I put the die in a padded vise as I did not want to indirectly hammer the press. I got a little more aggressive and the NATO head stamped case came right out. Many thanks.
