Super 1050 Case Feeder Malfunction

I've got an RL and Super 1050 and after about 10k trouble free rounds made on the Super, (30'06) new, primed USGI brass, will not feed/drop the brass into the case tube. On either speed, low or high, the cases just turn without dropping. Has this happened to anyone else? This defeats the whole purpose of the 1050 series. I've tried 50 cases to 400 and it will not drop the cases. I've thoroughly cleaned the feeder bowl and plate with no luck. Any suggestions? Something to look for? This is quite a problem and will certainly make loading for my beltfed brownings difficult and that's the only reason I bought the Super. BTW - .308 works fine but new clean US and lubed / processed '06 brass won't drop into the case tube...they just spin around. All is level and mounted to steel bench.

Thanks in advance,

SMA

See if the notch in the shellplate is bevelled rearward at the bottom. If so, you have an XL rifle feed plate, not the large rifle feed plate. also, we suggest alcohol to clean the lube from the plate and bowl, making sure the slots are clean. Otherwise shouldn't be an issue.

Was the metal slider at the mouth case feeder slid to the right?  If so it might not allow enough space for the case to drop through.  Slide it all the way open.
