Super swage
Quote from Reloader on September 5, 2013, 4:31 amI have a Super Swage but when I went to use it for the first time I am a bit perplexed. Trying to de-crimp some 556 brass that I cut down and re-necked for 300 Black Out the case is loose on the swage flopping around causing the de-crimping pin to not strike dead center. Am I missing a part? I have the part that screws on with an allen screw but its too big for the 300 BLK. Also, what up with adjusting the pin that holds the case? What should it be set at for cases? Some of us aren't (ok, maybe its just me) the sharpest at figuring this stuff out so some guidance for us slow folks would be greatly appreciated.
How about a detailed video on YouTube? My motto is "Pictures good, words bad". Either way I need help and will take what you can offer me...
Thanks!

Have you tried to use the (what I call) the .30cal support rod. I know nothing about 300 blackout, but I assume its closer to .30cal then .22cal.
If that doesn't work, you may be SOL. You need to swage the .223 brass before reforming them.
