Super Swage 600

I just ran 500 .308s through the primer decrimp process, mostly with success, but have a question / comment.
First, on the right side of the swage body there is a threaded hole which looks like it might be to lock down the tension-bar on which the case rests.  It seems like this might be a good idea since you can't really tell how far down to push the case, and sometimes the punch is misaligned and marks the case.  I mostly solved this by feel but it seems that a vertical alignment adjustment would eliminate vertical misalignment.   Is that the intent of this hole?
Second, the case can also move left to right and result in the same problem.   It seems that there should be an adjustment, perhaps just some long allen screws which go in to touch the case sides and eliminate this misalignment.

Am I missing something?  All in all it does a great job, and the primers seat perfectly after this process.  In addition to the crimp removal, I also clean the pocket with a simple hand tool.

My complete loading process is as follows:
Tumble clean very dirty cases for about 2 hrs in walnut shell media with dillon cleaner.

Bulk lube cases with dillon spray lube and run a few cases over a bore brush with lube on it to lube mouth inside.

Run these thru the 650 with only the sizer die in the head.  Die is adjusted with a Stony Point headspace guage.  You could also use the wilson case-length gage.  The case feeder speeds this step over the old single stage press.

Run them thru the primer swage and clean primer pocket.  For match grade ammo you should also remove inside primer-pocket burr.  This is a remnant which sometime remains on the case inside which resulted from the punching of the primer pocket hole.  So they say, it can cause significant accuracy problems.  I find it to be more common on commercial brass but do it on these as well.   This only needs to be done once.

Run them thru the Gracey trimmer -- This trims based on case shoulder so resizing length must be set correctly per above.  De-Burr case mouth.

Tumble again with corncob to remove oil etc.
Using 100psi+ air from compressor I blow them clean inside and out...just a couple of squirts.
The media wrecks barrels and I'm sure the brass trimmings is not good either.   This removes both.

Replace 650 head with one containing all the dies except the sizer and do the full load.

See http://jarheadtop.com/Articles.htm for a couple of great articles on reloading for service rifles.

There should be a set screw in the hole in the side of the swager body. This is to lock the height of the support block in the proper position. Call or e-mail , include your address, we'll mail one to you.
