Super Swage 600 new parts ?
Quote from Reloader on April 7, 2014, 5:56 pmI see that there are now .40 and 9mm adapters for the Super Swage 600 as well as the .45ACP adapter that has been available for some time.
I need to buy a Super Swage 600 and was wondering which, if any, of these adapters are included or are all of them (.45ACP as well) seperate order items?
I will be swaging .45ACP, 9mm, 5.56, & 7.62 brass.
Thanks,
Steve

Quote from Reloader on April 8, 2014, 4:36 pmThe 9mm and 40 S&W adapters are sold separately. The 45 ACP adapter comes with the swager, as do backup rods for .223 and .308/3006

Quote from Reloader on April 9, 2014, 12:22 pmThe swaging adapters for 9mm, 40S&W just hold the case better. If you are only going to be doing a few of them, the initial/existing adapters will work fine. You just have to be careful the swage is going into the primer cup. That is the way the swager was used for many years. The adapters just help with faster alignment.

It should be impossible to wear out the rods or adapters.

Quote from Reloader on April 14, 2014, 2:09 pmThanks everyone for the replies. I will be ordering the Super Swage 600 and the additional 9mm adapter. I expect I will be swaging many thousands of 45, 9mm, 5.56, and 7.62 cases over the coming years.
