Swage tool and 45 GI ACP brass
Quote from Reloader on January 28, 2011, 3:01 pmJust guessing, but is it necessary to full length and de-prime the brass before using the swage tool?
If so, wouldn't a die of some sort be preferable in a progressive machine?
What accessorys would be involved with using the bench mounted swage tool?
Thank you,
salty

Only the Super 1050 is capable of swaging during the loading process. The case rim is not strong enough to hold up under the pressure required to swage the primer pocket.
The SS-600 Swager includes all the necessary parts to procees both large and small primer pockets, in calibers from 223 through 45 ACP.
You can go to the overhead menu and click on "manuals", then open up the accessory manual to read the instructions for it.
