Thanks Dillon

Just a word to the Dillon folks;

I bought my RL450 somewhere in the late 70's ( Serial number 6159). That makes it older than most of the readers on this forum.

Over the years I have added some upgrades and mods, and the press just kept right on cranking out ammo. I cannot even guess how many rounds this machine has made. I know at one time I had filled a 3 gallon bucket with spent primers. And the press just kept on cranking.
Occasionally a part would wear out, and a free replacement would be received and it's life would continue.

My daughters both grew up helping dad reload, then loading their own. And the press just kept cranking.

When my oldest daughter got married three years ago, I asked her what she wanted for a wedding gift, and without blinking an eye, she said she wanted a new 550B. Which she got amid strange looks at the wedding reception. I think she was proudest of that gift. May their life together last as long as their press will.

So long story, short.... A big Thank you to all the Dillon folks, from Mike ( may he rest in Heaven), to the designers, builders and service folks.

Humbly and with utmost respect
Al in Colorado
