The Howa rifle

A friend of mine wants to get one of these and he asked if i knew of them.

All i could do is blink and look stupid. Can anyone fill me in on them GOOD OR BAD?

Thanks

Chris (KRISAKONE)

Very high quality rifles, made by HOWA in Japan. These are sold in the US as the Weatherby Vanguard. Nothing unique to the design, but solid, well finished, high quality materials. Very good value.

Thank you

Chris

Hello Chris,

I own two; 300 Weatherby Mag & 270.  Great price for the money, less then $500, and they come with a target from the factory.  Both my rifles shoot less then one inch at 100 yrd from a cold barrel.  Many different models to choose from, go to Weatherby.com and check them out.

I sold Howa's in my Gun Shop before I retired. I've heard nothing but good things. My personal Howas are well made & finished, accurate and reliable. Good enough for Weatherby to sell under the Weatherby brand with only a name change.
