Universal decap die question

In my current reload process for .223 - I use a Dillon Carbide Size Die on a single stage press. Once the brass is sized, I tumble again to remove the lube.

So I run de-primed brass through my 550 to load rounds.

I would like to put a decap die in station 1 to make sure no media is in the flash hole.

So the question is -

Does the universal decap die use the same decap pin as my .223 carbide size die?

And

If so - when I order the decap die, do I need to order decap pins with it(part numbers would help too)?

If not - would the regular Dillon size die take the same pins as the carbide die(I would just not put the die all the way down to size, and remove the expander ball)?

Thanks

Thinking about my writing -

Basically if I want to only have decap pins that work in my carbide die. Can I use a Uiversal decap die, or a regular die?

The universal depriming die uses a different depriming pin than the 223 die does. It will deprime 223 cases however. Spare decap pins are #15816
